Can I return my items?

Why yes you can!

For UK Customers

Our returns policy has been extended due to Christmas. All items purchased as a gift between the 30th November 2018 and 22nd December 2018 have until 5th January 2019 to return their goods. Items purchased before the 30th November 2018 and after the 22nd December 2018 must be returned within 14 days of recieving your items. Items must be unworn and unwashed. Items must have original tags still attached. You must obtain proof of postage in case it gets lost on its way back to us. The parcel is then your responsibility until it arrives back to us. We reserve the right to refuse a refund if the returns policy is not adhered to. Please allow 2-3 working days for your parcel to get back to us when using our returns label. This time frame must be factored in when returning your items to make sure it gets back to us within the returns period. Orders returned outside the returns period will not be accepted and will be returned to you.

Ok then how do I return?

So your items have:

Not been worn or washed

All tags still attached

No makeup, marks or perfume scents present

You are within the 14 days or Christmas returns period

OK let's do this!

On your delivery note tick the items you wish to return. Tell us why you wish to return the item by choosing from the reasons provided. Enclose this delivery note with your parcel so we know this parcel is yours. Not doing so will cause delays with your refund. Pack this up securely.

Peel off the returns label and attach it to the front of your parcel, try and cover the original delivery labels. Take your parcel to your nearest post office counter. Ask for a proof of postage certificate. Please allow 10 working days for us to receive your goods. If you opt for a refund, we will process the full transaction amount (excluding original delivery costs) minus £2.50 handling charge if our returns label is used.

In the event of losing your label, you can book your return online via the link: www.royalmail.com/track-my-return/create/1057. Here you can either print your own label or download one to print for free at your local post office.

What if I want an exchange?

At Dressed In Lucy we understand sometimes items do not fit as well as we hope and you need an alternative size. We are happy to exchange items for different sizes or colour as long as the requested item is in stock. Just tick the exchange box and fill in the requested size/colour. We will try our best to fulfil your request. In the event of this size being out of stock, you will be notified and refunded. Please note even with exchanges our returns policy must still be followed. We no longer accept exchanges on sale items. If you wish to send a sale item back to us within the 14 day returns policy (or christmas returns period), you'll be refunded for the item minus the returns fee. 

So how long do I have to wait?..

Please allow 10 days for us to receive your return. Once this is back to us and it has been processed it will take the following time scales to get back in to your account;

Bank account payments 3-5 working days

Paypal 1-2 days

For International Customers

Take your parcel to your nearest postal service and post back to us, paying for your return at the counter. Ask for a proof of postage certificate. The parcel is then your responsibility until it arrives back to us. Please allow 10 working days for us to receive your goods. We will then issue you with a full refund for your items (this amount excludes original delivery costs)Items returned outside the 28 days will not be accepted. We reserve the right to refuse a refund if the returns policy is not adhered to. 

Unfortunately, we do not offer a free exchange service for International customers.
