Access to the use of this Website and the products available through this Website are subject to the following terms and conditions. By using the website, you are agreeing to all of the Terms of Sale, as may be updated by us from time to time. You should check this page regularly to take notice of any changes we may have made to the Terms of Sale.
We will not be liable if for any reason this Website is unavailable at any time or for any period.
By using this Website, you consent to the processing described therein and you warrant that all data provided by you is accurate and up to date. You are responsible for maintaining and updating account information for accuracy.
You are not permitted to publish, manipulate or reproduce any of the content which appears on this Website nor may you use any such content in connection with any business.
When placing an order with us you are offering to purchase product which are subject to the following terms and conditions.
All orders are subject to availability. All prices of our products are subject to change.
Dispatch times may vary depending on the delivery service chosen and can often be subject to delays beyond our control especially during busy periods. All shipping times are a guideline. Incorrect delivery addresses will result in late dispatch. We reserve the right to cancel and refund orders for customers living in remote areas. Please see our delivery page for more information regarding delivery options and remote areas.
Weight limits of orders may apply to international orders over 2kg. Any orders deemed not for personal use might be subject to additional delivery charges where the weight limit is exceeded. Customers will be contacted prior to dispatch in such instances and may result in order cancellation.
The contract of sale:
To purchase from Dressed In Lucy you must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid credit or debit card. If your order is accepted via Worldpay or Paypal you will receive a confirmation email from the third party accepting your payment. This will become a binding contract of sale between yourself and the third party processing your payment. When placing your order you must provide accurate details and that you are an authorised user of the credit or debit card used. You will receive an order confirmation email from us only when the payment has been successful.
If there are any errors on the website regarding price after your item has been ordered we will contact you regarding this error and give you the option to confirm your order at the correct price or cancel your order. Prices are inclusive of VAT. Delivery charges will be charged in addition to the product costs.
Prices for Items may change from time to time. However, these changes will not affect orders that have already been dispatched. The price of an Item includes VAT and does not include delivery charges, delivery charges are applied at checkout.
Customers may cancel orders up till 12pm of the day of dispatch (not including weekends and bank holidays). To cancel your order please email firstname.lastname@example.org. Cancellation of orders is not permitted once the items have been dispatched. If you wish to cancel the contract of sale within 14 days you may do so via email prior to dispatch or via returning the goods. You must contact us within 14 days of receiving your goods to notify us of your contract cancellation, you then have a further 14 days to return your goods. Dispatch times vary depending on service chosen. Orders cancelled after dispatch will require the customer to return goods.
Items marked as NON-RETURNABLE FOR HYGIENE REASONS are non-returnable. Exchanges can not be given and returns will not be accepted. Such items will be returned back to you and are subject to additional delivery charges. This does not effect your statutory rights.
We are now trying to reduce our carbon footprint and no longer provide a returns label in our parcels. You are still able to download one using the link on the back of the invoice inside the parcel. If you have lost the invoice you can email customer services and they will provide you with the link. A label can be printed from home or at a post office that has the printing service.
Customers may contact us in writing via a letter or email within 14 days of the item being delivered or attempted to be delivered stating that they wish to cancel the contract of sale. This must be a written statement. Cancellation of the contract will mean that customers are entitled to a full refund of the items (excluding intimate items) along with the cost of standard delivery if a delivery fee has been paid and the full order is returned. The items must be unworn, unwashed, mark and scent free and in original packaging with labels attached. The cost to return the items is down to the customer to pay and our returns label must not be used. Standard returns will be treated as such and only the cost of the item returned will be refunded. Use of our returns label with standard Returns will incur a £3.00 charge, please note this is not an admin charge, this purely covers the cost of the returns service. Please allow up to 10 working days for us to process your return once we have received your return. Refund timescales are dependent on method payment. Please see our returns page for more details.

Customers returning any item returned outside the 14 day return policy and/or has been worn due to faults must communicate this with customer services prior to return. Any items deemed not a manufacturing fault will be returned back to the customer and may incur additional delivery charges.
Products listed as NON-RETURNABLE are non-returnable due to hygiene reasons. These items will not be accepted back in to the warehouse and will not be handled by our returns team due to health risks. These items can not be re-sold. Stick on Bras and Nipple Covers are wipe clean only DO NOT WASH. Packaging is purely for protection purposes and therefore damaged packing is not classed as a fault. Any item where by the misuse and care of the product has led to faults or made the product difficult to be assessed by our returns team may result in the refusal of the return. Removal of hygiene strips in swimwear will deem the garment non-returnable.
Exchanges Uk customers only:
Items returned for an exchange will be sent via a standard delivery method at no cost to the customer. Exchanges are subject to stock levels. No return charge will be taken for orders that are exchanged. However any orders containing both a refund and an exchange will still incur a return charge of £2.50 if our label has been used. If items that have been exchanged previously are returned for a refund they will incur a £3.00 charge. The £3.00 charge is for the use of our returns label and this fee is only wavered when items are exchanged and kept. We do not offer exchanges on sale items.
All UK addresses must be registered. All parcels will be dispatched to the address given, any customers providing the wrong address will incur an additional £4 charge. In this instance Dressed In Lucy will not absorb original delivery costs as this is not an error on our part. The refund will consist of only the product price paid and the £4 charge will be deducted from the refund. This is a charge made by the courier. Dressed In Lucy will not accept claims of loss for any parcels sent to a non-registered address or an incorrect address. Please note that orders are dispatched on working days and delivered on working days. Next day orders placed (not including UPS) after 2:30pm on a Thursday and before 2:30pm on a Friday may possibly be delivered on the Saturday. This is not a guarantee. Orders placed after 2:30pm on a friday will be dispatched the next working day (monday).
We are unable to refund delivery costs for any parcels dispatched on time by Dressed In Lucy that are delayed due to the courier. The timescales are only a guideline and no courier can guarantee time frames. Customers are able to return the orders under reason code Arrived Too Late and a full refund will be issued exclusive of delivery costs. Orders dispatched with UPS will be covered and any late deliveries will result in a partial/full refund at customer services discretion.
Customers will get email notifications where possible regarding delivery. Orders dispatched with Royal Mail will allow customers the option to select a safe place or neighbour to deliver the goods to if not home. If these options are selected the customer assumes all responsibility of the parcel and a claim will not be accepted if the parcel is missing. If the customer is not home for the attempted delivery and no alternative delivery instructions are given to the courier the parcel will be returned to the depot and redelivered at the couriers convenience. Customers will be charged £4 for any parcels refused or when the courier has attempted to deliver three times. These are charges made by the courier and Dressed In Lucy do not profit from these charges. The £4 will be deducted from the customers refund. We will also not refund the original delivery cost in this instance. Any customers redirecting parcels to an alternative depot will also incur a £4 charge.
Claims of non-delivery will result in a investigation. All our services are fully tracked and therefore an investigation will be launched with the courier service used. During this time the courier will interview the driver to ascertain the exact location the parcel was left. We must be informed within 28 days. Please note that is illegal to claim an item has not been delivered when it evidently has; this is known as Mail Fraud. Such false allegations may lead to legal action and the involvement of the police.
Missing Items: Claims of missing items will be investigated. In order to investigate claims customers must be able to provide evidence to assist in these claims. Customers will be asked to produce imagery of delivery notes and packaging. Please note that parcels are also weighed before being sent. Any claims deemed to be false will result in a case raised with Action Fraud and third parties such as Paypal will be notified. It is illegal to falsely claim items are missing and claim a chargeback, this is classed as fraud.
We do not deliver to the Channel Islands, PO Boxes and BFPO locations.
For delivery to the Isle of Man (IM), the outer Hebrides (HS) and the Shetlands (ZE) the option for these locations must be selected at checkout. Failure to select this option will result in order cancellation. We only offer a standard delivery service to these postcodes charged at £4.99.
In order to accept an international delivery we need a full address, email address and contact number. Without these your order is subject to delivery delays and your parcel can not be dispatched. All import duties and tax are the responsibility of the buyer and Dressed In Lucy will not be held accountable. Failure to pay for such taxes will result in your parcel being returned to us. Any parcels returned to us will incur a DHL return fee which will be deducted from your refund, this amount will differ dependent on country. Refunds will not include original postage.
Orders over 2kg may be subject to extra delivery charges.
Orders to the USA:
American couriers delivering parcels in the USA reserve the right to leave parcels without a signature. Due to federal law in the USA it is ilegal to take mail from another persons property. Due to this we will not accept any claims of none delivery where the tracking states delivered. Please make sure when ordering to an address in the USA that there will be someone to take delivery of a parcel at all times. By agreeing to these terms you accept full responsibilty and will not be able to complete a chargeback against H&K Clothing ltd. You have 5 working days to dispute delivery once the tracking states delivered for the company to investigate further and provide more clarity regarding the delivery.
Discount Codes can only be used once per customer and cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion. There is no cash alternative. We reserve the right to withdraw and refuse or restrict discount codes and related offers on any order at any time. Discount codes are not applicable against sale items unless stated. Discount codes can be subject to a minimum spend of £4.99. Items may be excluded from discounts and removed from sale during discount periods, any such items saved in baskets will be subject to a refund if purchased. Discount days apply to the period between 00:01 (GMT) and 23:59 (GMT) on the specified date ("Promotion Period"). At the end of the Promotion Period the Discount will no longer be available. Discounts not applicable to items in the Best Sellers section unless stated.

Threshold Spend Discounts T & C's:
Items purchased using a threshold spend discount code must meet the minimum amount to qualify for the advertised discount. Items returned from orders where such discount codes are used where the remaining un-returned items no longer meet the threshold spend will make the discount null and void. Returned items will therefore have the discounted amount taken from the refund.
Free Item Offers:
Orders returned where items contain offers such as buy one get one free will have the following rules applied:
only one item is returned from the offer- no refund will be given as this item is classified as having zero value
both items returned- refund given for one item with a deduction of £3.00 in accordance to our returns policy when our label is used
Free Shipping Offers
Free standard shipping is given to all UK orders with a value of over £50. Occasionally we offer free shipping to UK customers where by the minimum spend is reduced to £4.99. Please note to qualify for free shipping the minimum spend must be spent or exceeded after any other discount has been applied.
